The SR-629 is a multi-function and cost-effective device that connects any handheld or mobile radio. The new generation trunk-line board, the internal structure design, and the outward appearance have been improved, making it more attractive. The SR-629 provides a basic repeater function with a receiver and transmitter, and it also offers a simple connection for a more ideal 2-way radio conversation region, allowing users to maintain communication in a larger operating region.

When the radio units are connected, the received signal on one radio unit will be transmitted in real-time on the other radio unit. This allows for VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF, VHF/UHF, or UHF/VHF modes. In Mode 1, when Radio A is receiving, the control will be transmitted to Radio B. When Radio B is receiving, the control function is disabled. In Mode 2, when Radio A is receiving, the control will be transmitted to Radio B, and when Radio B is receiving, the control will be transmitted to Radio A.

The purpose of this cross-band duplex repeater controller can be achieved in two different places and using different frequency bands through a mutual communication relay station.
