The SR-112 is a multi-function voice recorder device that connects to virtually any handheld, base, or mobile radio, featuring exceptional voice recording quality and higher capacity than any other comparable device on the market. Its voice mail function operates like a telephone answering machine, allowing users to record up to 3 incoming messages, with a total recording time of up to 180 seconds.

A simplex repeater function records incoming transmissions and retransmits them on the same frequency, effectively doubling the time required to transmit a message. In contrast, a traditional repeater typically costs thousands of dollars and might be semi-portable at best. The SR-112's simplex repeater can be set up with a single handheld radio and operated from batteries, making it perfect for disaster response, home or campground use, and any place where radio range needs to be extended but the cost and complexity of a traditional repeater can't be justified.

The SR-112 offers an auto message send system with 15/30/45 minutes setting, providing 3 message boxes for recording. It supports DTMF remote control for all functions, with a 19.2 KHz sample rate for excellent voice clarity. The device operates from a 14500 3.7V Li-ion or external 5-24 V DC supply, and features a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that supports up to 72 hours of long-life operation.

Users can change the DTMF remote control password by radio, and set the Repeater Operates On/Off by DTMF. The audio output is adjustable in hardware and by remote command, and the device provides an audio input level display to help users adjust for the best sound. It also features a signal roger beep setting, DTMF signal display, and auto battery level display (20%~100%).
