The SF-401 Plus Frequency Counter is a versatile tool designed for maintenance personnel and wireless enthusiasts, capable of measuring the parameters of the frequency of continuous carrier signals in walkie-talkies, as well as providing a signal strength indicator. This portable frequency counter is specifically engineered for counting continuous wave signals from two-way radios.

The device offers a range of easy-to-use settings, covering the majority of frequencies used by the two-way radios you need to measure. Its four-button control interface is straightforward, and the compact size allows you to carry it wherever you go.

Powered by a TCXO (Temperature Compensated X'tal (Crystal) Oscillator), the SF-401 Plus maintains an impressive accuracy of ± 2 ~ ± 4ppm within the temperature range of -45°C to 65°C. This frequency counter encompasses a wide range of interesting frequency areas, including 2m HAM radio, as well as all VHF and UHF DMR radio signals.

To address any potential issues with VHF frequency checks, the device offers the following solutions:

1. Switch the ATT button to the left-hand side.
2. Change the antenna to a VHF or dual-band model, as the customer may be using a UHF antenna while trying to check a VHF band.
3. If using a UHF antenna to check the VHF band, try to angle your radio towards the frequency counter, as shown in the accompanying picture.

Please note that the frequency range from 27MHz to 100MHz cannot be guaranteed, and the corresponding normal emission appliance may not perform as expected.
